Scribus 是一套開放原始碼的桌面出版軟體，主要用來排版印刷品，例如雜誌、海報、手冊、名片。它的定位是「專業排版」，不是文書處理，也不是線上設計工具。如果你需要把文字和圖片精確地放在頁面上，控制字距、行距、色彩、出血，最後輸出成印刷廠能接受的 PDF，這套軟體就是朝這個方向設計的。

一般人遇到排版需求，最直覺的反應是打開 Word 或 Canva。Word 在長文件排版上很痛苦，圖片和文字的位置常常跑掉，輸出印刷品質的 PDF 也不是它的強項。Canva 雖然簡單，但版型彈性有限，色彩管理也不夠嚴謹。Scribus 這類工具的切入點是：給你完整的頁面控制權，從紙張尺寸、欄位、格線到色彩模式都由你決定，代價是學習曲線比上述工具陡峭。

01Scribus 到底能做什麼？

它是一套桌面出版軟體，主要用途是製作印刷用的版面，例如雜誌、海報、手冊、名片、電子書封面。你可以把文字、圖片、圖形放在同一份文件裡，用格線和輔助線對齊，設定多欄版面，控制字型與段落樣式，最後輸出成 PDF 或圖片檔。它也能匯入 PDF、EPS、SVG 和常見圖片格式，但複雜的檔案匯入後可能需要手動調整。

02它跟 Word 排版有什麼不同？

Word 是文書處理軟體，核心是「寫文件」，版面控制是附加功能。Scribus 的核心是「編排版面」，每一張圖、每一段文字的位置、大小、圖層關係都由你精確指定。如果你要做的是多頁雜誌、需要出血設定的海報、或是要送印刷廠的檔案，Scribus 的定位比 Word 更接近專業排版工具。但如果你只是要打一份報告，Word 會快得多。

03輸出 PDF 的時候可以嵌入字型嗎？

可以。Scribus 的 PDF 匯出選項包含字型嵌入、書籤、互動元素等設定。嵌入字型的意思是，把文件中用到的字型檔案一起包進 PDF，這樣別人的電腦沒有安裝這些字型，開啟檔案時也不會跑掉。這對印刷流程很重要，因為印刷廠不一定有你用的字型。匯出時記得勾選相關選項，並檢查字型清單，確認沒有遺漏。

04它支援 CMYK 和特別色嗎？

支援。Scribus 提供 CMYK、RGB 和特別色（Spot Color）的色彩模式，也支援 ICC 色彩描述檔、色彩分色和軟打樣（soft-proofing）。這表示你可以用 CMYK 數值指定顏色，預覽印刷後的色彩效果，並輸出含特別色的 PDF。不過，螢幕上看起來的顏色和實際印刷結果一定會有落差，建議跟印刷廠確認他們的色彩需求。

05圖片可以直接在軟體裡編輯嗎？

可以做基本編輯，例如裁切、旋轉、縮放、套用濾鏡，也可以調整透明度、陰影和混合模式。但它的定位不是影像處理軟體，複雜的修圖、去背、調色還是建議先用 GIMP 或 Photoshop 處理好，再放進 Scribus 排版。內建的圖片編輯功能是為了讓你在排版流程中快速調整，不是取代專業影像軟體。

06不會寫程式的人用得了嗎？

用得了，但需要花時間學。Scribus 的介面是圖形化的，不需要寫任何程式碼。它的學習曲線主要來自排版概念，例如主頁（Master Page）、字元樣式、段落樣式、出血、色彩管理這些名詞，對第一次接觸排版的人來說需要適應。官方網站有文件與教學，社群也累積了不少中文教學資源。如果完全沒有排版經驗，預期要花幾個禮拜才能順手。

07學生或個人接案適合用嗎？

適合，因為它是免費的，沒有訂閱費用，對預算有限的人來說門檻很低。如果你接的案子是海報、名片、手冊這類印刷品，Scribus 的功能足以應付。但要注意，如果你的客戶或合作夥伴使用 InDesign 的檔案格式，Scribus 無法直接開啟 .indd 檔案，只能透過 PDF 或其他中間格式交換，這在合作流程上會多一道手續。

08跟 Canva 比起來，哪個比較適合我？

取決於你的需求。Canva 是線上工具，操作簡單、有大量模板，適合快速做出社群貼文、簡報、簡單海報。Scribus 是安裝在電腦上的軟體，沒有模板庫，但版面控制精細很多，色彩管理也嚴謹。如果你要送印刷廠、需要精確控制色彩和出血，Scribus 比較可靠。如果你只是要快速做一張好看的圖，Canva 會更省時間。

09需要多人同時編輯一份檔案，適合嗎？

不適合。Scribus 沒有內建的協作功能，也就是說，兩個人無法同時在線上編輯同一份文件。官方說法是可以透過第三方工具，例如版本控制系統或雲端儲存服務來輔助，但這不是真正的即時協作。如果你的團隊需要多人同時改一份排版檔案，應該考慮有協作功能的線上工具，或是以 InDesign 搭配協作外掛的方案。

10想要有現成模板快速開始，這套軟體適合嗎？

不適合。Scribus 安裝後沒有內建模板庫，官方網站和社群有網友貢獻的模板可以下載，但數量跟 Canva 或 Microsoft Publisher 比起來少很多，品質也參差不齊。如果你需要大量現成模板、希望打開就能套用，這套軟體會讓你失望。它的設計邏輯是從空白頁開始，自己建立主頁、樣式和版面，適合願意從零開始的人。

11介面是英文的，中文使用者會很難上手嗎？

會比較吃力。Scribus 的介面語言是英文，沒有內建繁體中文介面。排版相關的術語本來就多，例如 master page、bleed、leading、kerning 這些詞，英文介面會增加理解成本。如果你對英文介面不熟悉，建議先找中文教學文章或影片，對照著操作。另外，中文文字的排版，例如直排、標點壓縮、注音符號，Scribus 的支援程度需要自行測試確認。

12跟 QuarkXPress 比起來，哪個更值得學？

兩者定位相近，都是專業排版軟體，但 QuarkXPress 是付費商業軟體，Scribus 是免費開源。QuarkXPress 在印刷業界有長期歷史，某些印刷廠的工作流程是以它為中心。Scribus 的優勢是免費、跨平台、持續更新，劣勢是社群和第三方資源比 QuarkXPress 少。如果你預算有限、願意自己摸索，Scribus 是可行的選擇；如果你要進入特定職場，可能要看該公司用哪一套。
