你每天開瀏覽器上網，用的還是那套熟悉的Chrome操作方式，但心裡總有個疙瘩：Google到底在背後蒐集了多少資料？你試過在設定裡關掉一些選項，但那些追蹤機制還是藏在深處，你不知道它傳了什麼出去。你想要的其實很簡單——繼續用習慣的介面，但不要每次開瀏覽器都覺得被看光光。

換瀏覽器聽起來很麻煩，Firefox或Brave都要重新適應介面、搬書籤、重裝擴充功能，想到就懶。但繼續用Chrome又覺得不安。這類工具的切入點是：保留你熟悉的Chromium操作體驗，但把Google的追蹤機制拿掉，讓你在不改變使用習慣的前提下，換一個比較不會回傳資料的瀏覽器。

01SRWare Iron跟Chrome到底差在哪裡？

它是以Chromium為核心打造的瀏覽器，操作介面、分頁管理、擴充功能支援都跟Chrome幾乎一樣。主要差異在於它移除了Chrome內建的追蹤功能，包括安裝追蹤、網址追蹤、建議服務等，也不會產生安裝ID。也就是說，你用Chrome的習慣可以無痛轉移過來，但Google那邊少了很多可以辨識你身分的資料。

02這套軟體能不能裝Chrome的擴充功能？

可以。因為它基底是Chromium，所以支援Chrome Web Store的擴充功能、主題和設定。你原本在Chrome用的擴充功能，大部分都能直接安裝使用。不過要注意，它不支援Google帳號同步，所以擴充功能的設定不會自動同步到其他裝置，換電腦時要重新手動安裝和設定。

03它有沒有內建廣告阻擋功能？

有。它內建一個廣告阻擋器，可以在設定中啟用，讓瀏覽網頁時少看到一些廣告。如果你想要更細部的阻擋規則，可以手動修改adblock.ini檔案來調整阻擋偏好。不過它的阻擋能力跟專業的廣告阻擋擴充功能比起來，可能沒那麼全面，如果你需要更強的過濾效果，還是可以另外安裝擴充功能。

04這套軟體有免安裝的版本嗎？

有。官方提供可攜式版本，不需要安裝就能直接執行，適合放在隨身碟或外接硬碟帶著走。安裝版在安裝過程中也可以選擇自訂設定，決定要不要建立捷徑、預設瀏覽器之類的選項。如果你不想在系統裡留下安裝紀錄，可攜式版本是比較乾淨的選擇。

05它會自動更新嗎？

不會。跟Chrome不同，它不會在背景自動下載更新，必須自己到官方網站下載新版本手動安裝。這對某些人來說是優點，可以自己控制什麼時候更新，避免更新後出現相容性問題；但缺點是如果你沒注意，可能會一直用舊版本，錯過安全性修正。建議定期去官網看一下有沒有新版本。

06這套軟體適合什麼樣的人用？

適合已經習慣Chrome操作方式、但不想讓Google蒐集瀏覽資料的人。如果你對瀏覽器外觀和操作很敏感，換一套完全不一樣的瀏覽器會覺得卡卡的，那這套軟體可以讓你幾乎無感轉移。另外，它也適合不喜歡軟體在背景偷偷更新的人，因為它把更新控制權完全交還給使用者。

07它跟其他注重隱私的瀏覽器比起來，有什麼不同？

它的做法比較單純，就是「把Chrome的追蹤拿掉」，不像Brave或Opera那樣內建VPN、獎勵機制或一堆額外功能。如果你只想要一個乾淨、沒有追蹤的Chromium瀏覽器，它很直接；但如果你還想要更多隱私保護功能，例如內建VPN或更強的指紋防護，那它可能不夠，需要另外裝擴充功能補足。

08我可以用Google帳號同步書籤和密碼嗎？

不行。因為它移除了Google的追蹤機制，所以也無法使用Google帳號同步功能，書籤、瀏覽紀錄、密碼都不會跟Google帳號同步。如果你很依賴Chrome的跨裝置同步，這會是很大的限制。替代方案是改用其他密碼管理工具或書籤同步服務，但這就多了一層設定成本。

09這套軟體適合當作唯一的主力瀏覽器嗎？

如果你對隱私很在意、而且不依賴Google帳號同步，它可以當主力。但要注意它更新頻率不高，近兩年只更新了兩次，安全性修正的速度可能比Chrome慢。如果你常逛一些安全性要求較高的網站，或需要最新網頁技術的支援，可能要考慮它更新較慢的風險，或者把它當作次要瀏覽器使用。

10它跟Chromium本身有什麼差別？

Chromium是Google開源的瀏覽器專案，是Chrome的底層基礎，但Chromium本身還是會包含一些Google服務的連線。SRWare Iron是在Chromium的基礎上，進一步移除這些連線和追蹤功能，例如安裝ID、網址追蹤、錯誤回報等。如果你想要的是「更乾淨的Chromium」，它比直接下載Chromium官方版本更進一步。

11這套軟體有沒有內建VPN或額外的安全防護？

沒有。它沒有內建VPN，也沒有額外的安全層級，例如HTTPS強制加密或指紋防護。它的隱私保護主要來自「移除追蹤」，而不是「主動防禦」。如果你需要VPN或更進階的隱私工具，必須自己另外安裝擴充功能或使用其他軟體補足，它本身不會提供這些功能。

目前有69人評分，平均分數是7.66分（滿分10分），算是中等偏上的評價。評分人數不算多，所以這個分數的參考價值有限。跟其他隱私瀏覽器相比，例如Epic Privacy Browser有122人評分、UR Browser有113人評分，它的能見度比較低，使用者的回饋樣本也比較少，實際使用情況可能要多看一些討論區的意見。
